Select Board approves warrant and prior minutes before special town meeting

RUTLAND — The Rutland Select Board convened for two minutes to approve routine financial items before a special town meeting. Chair Paul Mattson moved approval of Treasury Warrant 26-14 and payroll PW26-14, carried unanimously by members Alex Mowatt, Jen Leger, and Leah Whiteman; absent member Harry Sechman did not participate. The board also unanimously approved prior meeting minutes.
Board member Leah Whiteman confirmed the board would not recommend on warrant articles, consistent with past practice, since the articles were brought as citizens petitions.
