Events Committee approves concert series protocols and Sock Hop spending.

Events Committee · Meeting of January 6, 2026

Rutland Events Committee greenlights concert series planning and Sock Hop logistics. The five-member panel unanimously authorized Sondra Thomas to send declination letters to rejected concert bands once all selected band agreements arrive, and voted unanimously to offer Silver Strings a backup performance slot after their initial application arrived too late for standard consideration. The committee unanimously approved a $25 food budget for the Sock Hop and confirmed that Kerry Remington's Teen Advisory Council will provide babysitting for the event.

Commons have been booked for all concert dates.
