Rutland Library to host Veterans Day gathering
The Town of Rutland announced that the Rutland Public Library will host an informal Veterans Day gathering on Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to thank the town's veterans.

Rutland streetlights set to shut off Nov. 23
The Town of Rutland says town-paid streetlights are scheduled to shut off Nov. 23 after a reduced-service budget cut this year's funding to about three months. A Nov. 19 Special Town Meeting vote and individual Adopt-a-Light sign-ups could keep some lights on.
