SELECT BOARD APPOINTS EIGHT TO NEW ADA COMMISSION

Rutland Select Board appoints eight residents to new accessibility commission. Chair Sheila Dibb presented eight applicants; Town Administrator Heather Butler confirmed all met state requirements under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40 and noted the town has applied for ADA grant funding. The Board voted unanimously to seat the nine-member commission with staggered terms, and also unanimously approved charges for a Communications Advisory Committee and a Town Building Committee to identify maintenance priorities across town buildings.
