RUTLAND — Select Board approves DPW contract and appoints board members. The Rutland Select Board unanimously ratified a new collective bargaining agreement for the Department of Public Works union, effective July 1, and appointed Timothy Keenan (Conservation Commission), Alexander Maus (Planning Board), and Scott Gilroy (Board of Health) to the Earthworks Board through June 30, 2028, after waiving the in-person attendance requirement. The board also unanimously authorized an invoice to developer C.B.
Blair for snow plowing and treatment services on three pending roadways--Pioneer Circle, Woodside Avenue, and Arrowhead Way--covering December 4, 2025, through January 5, 2026, after the developer refused to perform the work required under his development agreement.
