Conservation Commission approves Woodside Ave. hearing continuation and Eagle Scout project.

RUTLAND — Conservation Commission defers Woodside Avenue hearings pending environmental approval. The board unanimously continued seven Notices of Intent for the Brice Estates, Inc. project (Lots 29R through 82R) to February 17, 2026, citing pending Department of Environmental Protection permits. In parallel action, the Commission unanimously authorized reimbursement from the Wetlands Protection Act account for two members to attend the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions Spring Conference.
Sam Keevan of Rutland Troop 141 pitched an Eagle Scout project to construct owl-boxes on town property; he will return after Boy Scout Council approval with a detailed plan.
