Fourth of July Committee · Meeting of February 25, 2026

RUTLAND — The Fourth of July Committee approved a business sponsorship letter and advanced fundraising plans for Rutland's 78th annual parade. Chairman Ben Barakian's committee voted 4–1 to move forward with the business sponsorship letter; the residential letter passed unanimously. Corrina Forhock of the Recreation Department will help design an Easter egg hunt fundraiser with a $10 entry fee, while the committee plans a kids' zone in partnership with radio station 104.50, which may coordinate sports mascots and a bouncy house.
