RUTLAND — Fourth of July Committee unanimously approves tree-design logo for postal patron mailer. Chair Ben Barakian led the committee in selecting the first design from three mockups; the mailer will cost $1,544.00 through Clark Mailing with $934.58 in postage to reach 3,694 addresses. The committee also authorized Caroline Bishop to spend up to $3.50 per child on candy and games for March 29 Easter egg hunt gift bags, anticipating roughly 150 participants.

The Fourth of July account holds $28,627.62 and recently received $1,125.00 in donations in memory of Phil Helle.
