RUTLAND — Select Board votes to oppose Finance Committee's $660,058 cut to WRSD budget. Board members Leah Whiteman and Jen Leger opposed the reduction, citing lack of communication from the Finance Committee and stating the cut does not benefit the town. The board voted 4-1 to recommend unfavorable action on the Finance Committee amendment and unanimously authorized an amended motion to fund the full WRSD assessment at Town Meeting.
