Rutland records 13 deeds in July, but sale prices stay under wraps

The Worcester County Registry of Deeds recorded 13 property transfers for Rutland addresses between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only one disclosed a sale price: $100,000, recorded July 8 for a transfer from Mitchell and Ellen Gill to All One Credit Union. The other 12 transactions, including two condominium units at 176 Maple Ave. and two properties on Highland Park Road, carried no disclosed consideration amount. Several deeds involved banks as sellers, including Main Street Bank, Wells Fargo and Bay State Savings Bank, and others showed overlapping family names between seller and buyer. With pricing data available for just one of 13 deeds, the month's figures cannot support a read on whether the market ran hot or cold.
