Rutland Historical Commission advances Prison Camp preservation proposal. Chair Peter Pasierb and member Michele Van Reet will coordinate promotion of an upcoming public meeting with the state Department of Conservation and Recreation. Member Lindsay Maus developed a proposal outline including a "Do Not Climb" sign, community painting and mural contest, anti-graffiti paint, security cameras, and removal of deteriorated posts.

The commission assigned members to develop comparative stone wall policies and coordinate outreach to abutters regarding wall preservation.
