RUTLAND — Finance Committee approves public outreach plan for FY2027 budget season. Town Administrator Heather Butler presented materials for March and April community sessions and Senior Center meetings, which the committee endorsed. The committee fielded departmental budget requests from the Planning Board and other commissions, deferred action on staffing and stipend increases, and approved a $10 increase in the Finance Committee's annual dues from $200 to $210.
The committee will meet again February 26 to discuss carry-over items, revolving funds, and proposed budget cuts in greater detail.
