RDIC defers December minutes, plans joint Select Board session.

RUTLAND — The Rutland Development and Industrial Commission voted to direct member Mike Sullivan to contact Harbor Classic Homes about surveying the Harmony Place property boundary lines, passing the measure unanimously. In a separate 3-1 vote, the board sent a letter to the Select Board objecting to Conservation Commission oversight of forestry management and requesting the RDIC or Agricultural Commission handle it instead; Michele Van Reet voted no. Sullivan reported nine buildings erected at the Harmony Place 55-plus community with seven units occupied and three more closings pending.
The RDIC will jointly meet with the Select Board on February 2nd to finalize the Commission's revised charge.
