Rutland Finance Committee advances bylaw revisions and seeks budget clarity. The committee unanimously voted to forward proposed Finance Committee bylaw changes to the Bylaw and Charter Committees for review and to release a January 5 memorandum from Town Counsel clarifying that Rutland must fund the full school district budget if it passes in four of five district towns. Member Natalie Borreson of the WRSD School Committee clarified that School Committee members had not received invitations to prior Finance Committee meetings and said she would inform colleagues that attendance would be welcome.
