Events Committee approves music bingo and meal plan for 250th celebration

RUTLAND — Events Committee authorizes entertainment and catering for 250th celebration. The committee unanimously approved a $150 contract with Dan-O-Music Bingo for the town's Declaration of Independence anniversary event and authorized up to $400 for a catered meal for performing bands. Members also unanimously recommended Christine Drolet for appointment to fill an open seat on the committee.
Concert series planning remains on track with all bands finalized except the August 21 date; Earth Day clean-up has drawn six registrants so far.
