Rutland Events Committee approves prior minutes and moves summer events forward. The committee confirmed a $1,500 Rutland Cultural Council grant for the Sizzling Summer Sendoff and adopted event tracking forms to improve accountability across five upcoming summer events. Committee member Barbara Ruchala is coordinating backup indoor venue arrangements with Congo Church for the 2026 Concert Series and following up on three missing band agreements of eight needed.
The Community Expo has 12 groups registered, and the Sock Hop has DJ and babysitting coverage in place.
