Commission approves reappointments, continues wetland hearing

Conservation Commission · Meeting of May 5, 2026

RUTLAND — Conservation Commission backs reappointments and continues wetland hearing. The board unanimously recommended the reappointment of members Melissa Danza and Mary Hunt, whose terms expire June 30, with a third member, Glenda Williamson, still undecided on renewal. The commission continued the Notice of Intent hearing for Elbag Brothers, Inc. to May 19, requiring revisions to their Ridge Road single-family dwelling plan to address erosion control concerns and Department of Environmental Protection comments.

The commission also issued a negative determination for Jeffrey Bogosian's yard improvements project at 29 Prescott Street, permitting clearing, raised beds, fruit trees, and a poultry coop near a wetland.
