Board of Health increases plan review and food permit fees, effective May 1

Rutland Board of Health increases licensing fees effective May 1. Chairman Scott Gilroy and Vice Chair Karin Prucnal voted unanimously to raise the plan review fee from $150 to $200 and the food establishment permit fee from $110 to $150, directing portions to a revolving fund rather than the general fund. The Board also referred a request to redirect Installer's licenses, Septage licenses, and Refuse Hauler license fees to the Inspectional Services Revolving Fund to Town Counsel for review.
FY2027 budget discussions included contingency planning for a potential override failure at election.
